This was one of those weddings that’s going to stick with me forever. The kind where everything just falls into place perfectly – the people, the setting, the dogs (yes, dogs!), and the party that had everyone on their feet. Buckle up, because this was a day to remember for this UK wedding photographer!
The day kicked off at the beautiful Duredon Farm , where Hannah got ready with her bridesmaids. And let me tell you, the natural light in that place? An absolute *dream* for any candid wedding photographer! Soft, warm, and perfect for those real, unposed moments – from Hannah’s mum adjusting the veil to the giggles shared between the girls.Â
Hannah was glowing from the start – calm, collected, and ready to walk down the aisle to marry Thady.
After the preparations, we all headed to St Luke’s Church for the ceremony. And I have to admit, I was *so* excited about this part. Not only was it the most beautiful little village church, but Hannah and Thady’s dogs were part of the day! As a candid wedding photographer, capturing those authentic, unscripted moments is everything – and let’s just say the dogs nearly stole the show!
The service itself was beautiful – full of warmth, love, and so many genuine emotions. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church (and I’m pretty good at spotting those moments!). Once the vows were exchanged, it was time for some confetti followed by short drive up the road to the reception.
Now, the reception… wow. Set on Hannah’s parents’ farm, where she grew up, it was the perfect place to celebrate. And the marquee? Absolutely breathtaking, with the rolling hills of Exmoor as the backdrop. You couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque location – something every UK wedding photographer dreams of.
The personal touches were what really made it special, though. Hannah & Thady met through horses, Hannah now works in the horse racing industry had named the tables after previous horses, racecourses and hunts they have been a part of. Such a unique and personal way to bring a piece of their world into the day.
Now, I’ve seen some good parties in my time, but this one? It was *legendary*. As the sun set, a saxophone player took to the stage, filling the air with chilled Ibiza vibes. That’s right up my street – and it really set the tone for what was to come. Guests were already on their feet, drinks were flowing, and by the time the dance floor opened, you knew it was going to be one hell of a night.
Hannah and Thady’s wedding was everything a uk Wedding photographer could hope for – full of laughter, love, and those incredible moments that make your heart full. Between the stunning Exmoor backdrop, the personal racing touches, and, of course, the dogs, it was a day I won’t forget anytime soon.
