Ellen & Adam’s Epic Waters Edge Wedding Near Cirencester

Waters Edge Wedding Photographer

Where do I even start with Ellen and Adam’s wedding? This was one of those magical days that had it all—laughter, love, a bit of rain (of course, we are in Gloucestershire!), and one heck of a dance floor!

The day kicked off at Well Cottage Bed and Breakfast, where Ellen and her *huge* bridal squad were getting ready. With 11 bridesmaids and 2 bridesmen, the morning was an absolute riot! There was so much energy, laughter, and a few sneaky bubbles , When Ellen invited me to follow her for a piccie on the loo, i knew she was going to be one hell of a bride, which set the tone for the entire day. As a **Gloucestershire wedding photographer**, mornings like this are a dream—so many candid moments and smiles all around!

By the time we headed over to **The Waters Edge** in Ewen, the rain had finally given up, just in time for their beautiful outdoor ceremony by the lake. And when I say stunning, I mean it. The venue’s name says it all—lakeside views, greenery everywhere, and a sense of peacefulness that made the perfect backdrop for Ellen and Adam’s vows.

What I loved most about Ellen and Adam’s day was how relaxed and informal it was. There was no seating plan, no sit-down meal—just a fantastic grazing table that kept everyone munching away throughout the day. Add in a few rounds of table tennis, and you’ve got the perfect chilled-out wedding vibe! Everyone was in high spirits, wandering around, enjoying the sunshine, and taking in the lakeside views.

Now, here’s a moment I absolutely loved. Midway through the celebrations, Ellen and Adam decided to sneak off on their own. They took a quiet stroll around the lake and found a little picnic bench on the opposite side, away from the hustle and bustle. They just sat there for about 20 minutes, soaking it all in, talking, laughing, and taking a breather from the whirlwind of the day. As a **Waters Edge wedding photographer**, moments like these are so special to capture—just the two of them, lost in the moment.

The party kicked off in the evening, and let me tell you, it did *not* disappoint! Ellen and Adam booked my “biggest package you’ve ever seen,” so I was there for the whole shebang. And thank goodness, because this crew knew how to party! I love those late-night dance floor shots—once people have had a drink or two, the inhibitions disappear, and the real fun begins. Ellen, in particular, earned herself the ultimate honour of my “Legendary Bride Award” for pulling off *the worm* in the middle of the dance floor! It was truly one for the books, and the photos are absolute gold.

By the end of the night, my camera was full of shots of people laughing, dancing, and just living their best lives. Ellen and Adam’s day was a fantastic reminder that weddings don’t need to be formal or traditional to be unforgettable. It was fun, relaxed, and full of personal touches that made it uniquely them.
